Eccles Centre Visiting Professorships, Fellowships
and Postgraduate Awards 2012
Applicants are invited to apply for one of several
awards being offered in 2012 to help support scholars who need to visit London to use the British Library's collections relating
to North America.
Research visits should take place in the period
April 2012-September 2013. Applications must be submitted by 5pm on January 31,
2012.

Applications are invited for the Eccles British Library
Writer in Residence Award.
The award of £20,000, sponsored by the David and Mary Eccles
Centre for American Studies at the British Library, is open to writers resident
in the United Kingdom.
Writers should be working on a non-fiction or fiction full-length book, written
in the English language, the research for which requires that they make
substantial use of the British Library's collections relating to North America
(the USA and/or Canada).
