Ottawa, January 5, 2012

The International Council for Canadian Studies (ICCS) is pleased to announce that its next conference, entitled Cultural Challenges of Migration in Canada, will be held in Ottawa from May 22 to 24, 2012, in collaboration with the Universities of Ottawa and Carleton.

Presentations will focus on issues related to the cultural challenges of migration to Canada in the context of “globalisation”, and on the creation of a culture that stems from the development of migratory phenomena. Topics presented include communications, languages, literature, music, visual arts, as well as political and social sciences.
