Announcement: Following the elimination of the Understanding Canada program, we regret that it has been necessary to increase membership rates and to introduce a new tier for retired/unwaged members. Renewal forms will be circulated to all existing members with the new rates in January 2013. 

Members of BACS are entitled to 2 issues of the British Journal of Canadian Studies per year plus online access to the BJCS, all issues of BACS E-News and occasional issues of the BACS Newsletter. Please note that subscriptions must be paid up to date for online access to the BJCS - lapsed members will only be able to access the journal up to the last paid year.

In 2013, rates for Individual members will be as follows:

Regular £50.00 / C$80.00
Retired/unwaged  £35.00 / C$55.00
Student £25.00 /C$40.00

Forms for individual membership can be downloaded here or you may pay by credit card via our secure webpage (payment will be taken in sterling and your credit card statement will show a conversion if appropriate). If you prefer to pay by PayPal in sterling or Canadian dollars  please contact the BACS office to request an invoice.
 

BACS subscriptions and Gift Aid

If you are a UK income tax-payer you may like to Gift Aid your BACS subscription. You can now download a form here that will allow us to claim 25p in the pound on your subscription. The form (in either MS Word or PDF format) can be filled in and printed before signing or downloaded for completion by hand. Please return the form to the BACS office.

If you have already sent this year's subscription but would still like to complete the form, we can still make a claim. Next year we will send out the Gift Aid Declaration to UK members with membership renewal forms.
