Edwin S. Curtis' The North American Indian (Northwestern University)
Hosted by Northwestern University's Digital Library Collections, this site provides complete access to all 20 volumes of Curtis's The North American Indian (1907-1930), including images and descriptions. Includes extensive information on Canada's First Nations. This site allows browsing by the original arrangement of the work, and by tribe or geographical region. There is also a search option. Royal Commonwealth Society Photograph Project
Project will provide a web-accessible database of over 70,000 images (relating to all the countries of the Commonwealth). Some 600- 700 photographs will be available digitally.
