The London Conference for Canadian Studies was set up in 1982 to encourage the promotion of Canadian Studies in London and the South East of the UK. We are highly appreciative of the generous financial and other encouragement from the London High Commission, Government of Canada that has enabled both the maintenance of the London Conference for Canadian Studies (LCCS) and the publication of the London Journal of Canadian Studies. Those interested in Canadian Studies are encouraged to become members of LCCS as we seek to establish cooperation across various institutions and disciplines. It brings together, for example, specialists in education, geography, history, law, librarianship, linguistics, literature, political studies, psychology, sociology and other disciplines.
